I Have Great Friends

I am truly blessed with great friends. As a parting gift, my bunch got me a photo frame and they attached a recent group photo of us. They also each wrote in a card and when they presented both the frame and the card to me, the waterworks started. My initial reaction was to scold them for getting me something but I was very very touched by what they did.

My guys on the other hand, took it upon themselves to "warn" me about the new environment to prepare me for what I may have to encounter. It got me very worried but it was sweet, what they did. They feel the need to protect me still! How cute is that!

I'm going to miss them terribly and I'm pretty certain the feeling's mutual. I must must not go MIA and do my best to keep in touch with them.

When It Rains, It Pours

Today was a tough day for me to have to go through. It was P1 Orientation and the last official working day for the staff. I was not present for the staff activities this week as I was down with the flu so I could not really get a chance to see them since the news of my posting.

Watching the school's corporate video got to me. Like, real tears were streaming down my face. Seeing the images of the boys on the screen and being amidst my colleagues and it finally dawned on me that I am leaving and that I will no longer be a part of the school. At least I'm part of the video, so I'm leaving a part of me behind.

The feeling got worse as I was clearing my desk and it all went downhill from there, as I was walking out of the school gates. Gosh. I must really close this chapter in my life in order to open up the next one.

Harry Potter 7 Part 1

I managed to catch part 1 of the final installment of Harry Potter. I love it! It leaves you with so much suspense and anticipation for part 2 that I will have to watch it again and possibly again before part 2 comes out in cinemas.

On the down side, it was long... not the duration of the movie, but the lack of action made parts of the movie draggy. Only 1 hocrux was found which means the other 3 would be found in part 2. I'm not too sure about that though, all that action in a 2.5 hour movie... I have my doubts since they promised to stay true to the book.

All that said, I can't wait for part 2!!

Signs of Ageing

I am in so SO much pain. I played badminton with the boys and that lasted less than 2 hours and now I am in pain. Heh. I feel like someone hit me all over with a bat. I didn't feel anything at all till much later, after my nap. This should be a lesson for me to exercise regularly but nah... I doubt I'll do anything about it, exercise-wise. I am such a sloth.

Hoorah for the Hols!

The holidays are finally here! It was a crazy year and an even crazier term and I've survived it *throws confetti*

Next week and the week after, we only have to return to school for 4 hours. I'd rather not return at all, but it's better than a full day at work, yes?

I Am A Supervillian

I did something so mean today and I am thrilled about it. I cannot go into the details but she got what she deserved. That's for treating the people around her badly and for acting like we are inferior to her.

It was a slap (metaphorical) to her face when her blunder was surfaced not only by me but by a few others. And boy, was she enraged! I could not help but to grin openly and reiterate the mistake. I admit it was mean but she deserved it.

There will probably be repercussions but I do not care about that. You mess with my friends, you mess with me, bitch.
