Week 4 of Hols

It has been a bloody exhausting week. It wasn't even joyful but school-related. Sigh.

Monday - basketball from 9am - 11am but I did pamper myself with a pedicure.

Tuesday - basketball from 9am - 4pm but the seniors took me out to Pastamania for an early dinner. So no complaints there. I will miss the boys so much when I leave!!

Wednesday - NE Show briefing at 930am at City Hall Chambers which was an epic bore. Everything which they mentioned in the briefing could have been relayed to us via email. Considering it was MINDEF, they were rambling and out of point and a good 40mins behind schedule. Pppfffttt. I rushed down to school around 1pm to prepare for an EMC presentation. It was nerve-wrecking! I mean, it is after all a shark-infested pool! But I did well. I wasn't grilled at all and I received nods and 2 thumbs up. That did boost my ego a tremendous deal. I was ready to go home at 4pm but I received a text from Avery. I headed home to shower and change before meeting him back at Bishan to head to town to shop for his birthday gift. I won't say what I bought for him, but the boy is over the moon and owes me for life! Hahahaha... I heart you much much... and we should have more just-you-and-me meet-ups.

Thursday - Lunch plans were a bit disorganized but Contact Time was just as chaotic. It was information overload *cringe* I had just enough time to settle down mentally and doll up for a good friend's uncle's wedding. It was well-managed and provided some valuable mother-daughter bonding time.

Friday - Gah. Stupid stupid workshop that dragged on forever. Technically it's a 2-day course but they crammed it into 1 single day. It was a toll on all of us and we couldn't be happier when it ended at 4:30pm. Shagged as I was, I managed to squeeze in a manicure :)

Wah. Just looking back at the week tired me out. And it's not even the official start of school!! *screams*
